It all began in the winter of 2022, when I (Alec) temporarily moved to Silverthorne to be closer to the mountains while working remotely. We had first met the previous winter through mutual friends, but life had pulled us in different directions. When I mentioned I was returning to Colorado for the ski season, Sarah decided to join me on the slopes.

And just like that, a simple message turned into something much bigger. One ski day turned into many. Mountains became memories, and friendship quietly blossomed into love.

Since then, we’ve set down roots in Denver, exploring the world together through skiing, hiking, and traveling, all while building a life full of adventure and connection.

On August 4, 2025, back in Vail where our story first began, I decided it was time to give our relationship a new title: fiancés!

We’re so excited to celebrate over four years of love, laughter, and adventure with all of you, and to create even more unforgettable memories together.

We’re endlessly grateful for the love and support from our friends and family, and we can’t wait to share a weekend full of fun, food, dancing, and drinks with everyone who’s been part of our story.
